With furniture and furnishings by Teal LIVING, the Athena design team have created a beautiful interior look with style and sophistication, enabling residents to enjoy a great lifestyle in surroundings filled with personality. Working closely with the Athena design team Teal LIVING helped to deliver their vision. With a personality that has roots in the community the artwork chosen throughout is a key element in the design philosophy, bringing the local area and history into the home.
Strategically designed over three floors Ivy Gate Lodge provides specialist residential and nursing care services to those with varying needs. Extensive facilities at Ivy Gate Lodge include en-suite bedrooms with wet rooms, a café bistro just off the entrance area providing a communal hub for both residents and families, spacious lounges, dining rooms delivering a fine-dining experience – a hair & beauty Salon and a central courtyard with beautiful landscaped gardens to the rear.
In communal living areas every detail has been carefully planned by the design team at Athena, who, from the outset wanted to create a home that was light, airy and inviting, offering choice to residents - with different lounge and day spaces, library, games room, quiet lounges and inviting communal spaces.
With a focus on dementia care Ivy Gate Lodge has been tastefully decorated, with themed areas that add interest and talking points for residents – there is even a games room with framed board games on the wall which make for an inviting and engaging space to play, helping to evoke joyful memories of times gone by.
