We control every aspect … from product design and innovation, to manufacturing, logistics, installation and aftercare. And all the things that were important to us in the beginning; our attention to detail, integrity, investment in people and passion for design are still very much running through the veins of our business today.
We have ambitious plans for the growth and development of our three brands - Teal HealthCare, Teal LifeCare and Teal LIVING, which means the next chapter of our story is going to be an exciting one. One we want you to be a part of.
Teal delivers its capabilities through three integrated brands. Each of our brands has its own individual personality, complementing each other to create an extensive portfolio to choose from. Whatever your project, whatever your style and whatever your need, you’ll find the solution within this brand family.

A true British manufacturer
A unique combination of state-of-the-art manufacturing technology together with traditional hand finishing expertise allows us to create beautifully crafted and detailed furniture and furnishing collections. As a true British manufacturer, we control every aspect of the process. We design, we weld, we paint, we mould, we cut, we sew, ship and install.
Installation services
Installation services are managed by a dedicated Account Manager, who in conjunction with the Project Manager co-ordinates all aspects of the delivery and installation, including full site survey with detailed RAMS. A skilled, nationwide team carries out the installation in line with our ISO9001 procedures. Employees are CSCS approved.
Delivery
Our transportation fleet is all our own, meaning we have complete control of the process from beginning to end, ensuring timely deliveries and sustainable loading, with products arriving in the best condition via our own fleet and drivers.
Service support
We have a nationwide service support team as part of our commitment to customer care.
We engage with people in the communities in which we operate and take every opportunity to do this in an ethical, charitable and socially responsible way. We have a range of policies and business ethics that clearly set out how the company wishes to operate, and that are designed to promote a culture of corporate and social responsibility across the business.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have our own in-house Environment Agency approved recycling business called Sustain™. Through Sustain, you can access a number of services including the collection and recycling of your waste packaging and recycling of your old furniture.
Teal combine imaginative design with practical application, placing the user at the heart of the process.
Based on good design, our innovative, class leading products help to transform environments and create bright, contemporary spaces that complement latest healthcare interiors.
Products such as the innovative, distinctively styled dementia friendly Velvare armchair have been installed at an award winning Dementia Resource Hub, helping to improve the environment of care for people with dementia. For paediatric care we have designed bespoke bedside lockers with distinctive new artworks at Great Ormond Street and The Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, while the award winning Buddy day bed – winner ‘Best product for improving the patient experience’ has allowed family sleepovers in patient rooms.
With a genuine desire to transform residential care home interiors we create furniture to excite, inspire and invigorate. Our innovative designs focus on ergonomic design and distinctive styling alongside the needs of postural support, infection control and pressure management.
One aspect of quality we can have control over is our Quality Assurance. It simply means that every one of our products has been through a rigorous testing system and our customers’ requirements are adhered to with a strict Right First Time and Zero Defect policy.
Our fully documented quality systems involve every aspect of operations and all of our employees undergo regular training to ensure these standards are constantly met. Our UK sites have been accredited with ISO9001 since 1991, we are full members of The Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) and all our products are independently tested to relevant British and international standards. We test our products for their stability, structural strength and durability.
