Birkdale Tower Lodge, a flagship new care home in the Southport area, offers a blend of luxury living facilities with first-rate hospitality and care fit for 21st century living. Birkdale Tower Lodge is one of three sites recently equipped by Teal LIVING, which also includes Ribble Park Lodge, a purpose-built residential care home located in the heart of Much Hoole village and Lily Wharf Lodge residential and nursing care home, located in Burscough, West Lancashire. Each lodge has its own unique character, enabling residents to lead vibrant and fulfilling lives.
Teal were appointed as preferred supplier for all three schemes, for the provision of full FF&E, including specialist interior design, manufacture, supply and installation of furniture, soft furnishings, curtains and decorative accessories including wall art and mirrors in respect of the reception areas, corridors, cinema room, café/restaurant, residents’ bar, bedroom suites, hair salon and communal areas.
From communal living areas to residents’ private suites every detail has been carefully planned as part of the project management service provided by Teal’s interior specialist, helping to create stunning spaces that place safety, comfort and style at the heart of the design.
Athena chose quality, high-end fixtures and furnishings throughout, matching perfectly with Teal’s expertise in manufacturing high-end ‘fit for purpose’ furniture. Beautiful fabrics chosen by Athena helped create a bespoke, stylish and fresh new look from the outset. According to Teal LIVING National Sales Manager Sara-Jane Farrow “healthcare appropriate fabrics with in-built anti-microbial technology ensure furniture is quick and easy to clean”.
Carefully designed and flexible spaces mean residents can live independently and safely, with stunning furniture and décor designed to create a wow factor whilst still being dementia friendly and age appropriate for those who seek extra safety due to mobility challenges, vulnerability or physical limitations.
The Clubhouse Restaurant provides an elegant dining experience, while the Bunker Bar is Birkdale Tower Lodge’s residents’ bar, where the community can relax with a drink. The lodge offer a choice of beautifully appointed suites, each one spacious and well-equipped, featuring high-end bedroom furniture supplied by Teal LIVING.
