An existing NHS facility has been re-purposed to create a stunning new multi-use space at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust).
The newly refurbished East Atrium at the hospital, based on the outskirts of Norwich features a stunning ‘Big Leaves’ sculpture on the walls with complementary furniture provided throughout the atrium by NHS approved provider Teal HealthCare, helping to create a flexible, modern, fit for purpose space.
Teal worked collaboratively with stakeholders at NNUH to meet the needs of its staff by creating a multi-use staff break out area for rest, work, meetings and lunches. The service has become an invaluable one-stop shop for care professionals, used for both work and wellbeing activities.
Teal provided an end-to-end solution, partnering with key stakeholders at the Trust in the specification, supply and installation of furniture. Helping to create a contemporary space the furniture supplied is both robust and secure, with seating in anti-bacterial healthcare appropriate fabrics, stylish desking and mobile tables for flexible space management.
“The brief was to create a welcoming, fit for purpose and aesthetically pleasing multi-use space for staff. Our furniture, whilst being appropriate for the environment in terms of strength and durability, also complements the interior finishes selected by the Trust, with design led Tala seating and tables in co-ordinating colourways throughout”.
