Teal manufacture under an ISO9001:2008 Quality system and an ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System.
Teal are members of the Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA).
Seating ranges are designed and tested in line with BS EN 15373:2007 Furniture: strength, durability and safety.
- Chairs meet Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. BS5852 Flammability test: Ignition source 5 or higher
- BS7176 Ignition test: medium hazard
- Foams: All foams are combustion modified high resilient fire retardant
