Fabrics

Teal use upholstery fabrics from a large number of manufacturers. We are able to provide advice on the choice of fabrics for different environments, including antimicrobial and antifungal fabrics, waterproof fabrics, etc – contact our sales office for swatches of fabric for your particular application.

We can upholster in a customer’s own material (COM) subject to approval being sought from our sales office before an order is accepted. We recommend that customers follow the cleaning and maintenance procedures specified by the manufacturer of their particular fabric.

All fabrics and vinyls pass BS 5852 Ignition Source 5 or higher and BS 7176 Medium Hazard. All foams are combustion modified high resilient fire retardant.

In addition to most Camira ranges the Panaz fabrics below are available under our Xpress Stock Programme for delivery within 10-15 working days.

Lockers

The individual needs and demands of customers can be met by customising the existing models on pages 30-31 – eg the addition of metal drug dispensing units to the front of the locker, special locking

arrangements, different handles, castors, etc. Please contact your area salesperson or the sales office to discuss your specific requirements.

Wood finishes

We manufacture our furniture in solid beech or beech laminates and with the exception of C500/502/510/ 510A and Hampden models, we can stain all our chairs with the standard stains shown below or matched to your own requirements – in this case, you should provide an original for us to match to. Due to variations in the printing process, colours shown in this catalogue may not be identical to a finished manufactured item.
